Parental Mental Health and Child Welfare Network - Steering Group Members
RICHARD ANDERSON
Richard is Programme Manager with the CAPE project in Greenwich. A qualified social worker and counsellor who has specialised in adult mental health for the last 20 years, he has also taken a lead role in encouraging mental health services to be more responsive to the needs of children in families where there are parents or carers with mental health difficulties. Richard is currently leading the development of a new and innovative family focussed service in Greenwich which aims to support both adults and children where there is parental mental illness. One of its core objectives is to bring about a shift in the way that statutory services work together to support such families.
JUDY FOSTER
Judy Foster is Chair of St Michael's Fellowship - a voluntary organisation that supports young parents in the community in south London and undertakes residential assesments of parenting abilities for the courts.
STEVE GILLES
Steve is currently working as Systemic and Family Psychotherapist. He has a background in Social Work working with children, young people and families. His interest in this area of work stems from recent work in South London developing services for families where there is parental mental ill health.
DAVID GOODBAN
David has been a CAMHS Regional Development worker at the South West Care Services Improvement Partnership since 2003. Before that he worked as a teacher, in childcare social work, as an ASW, a CAMHS therapist, CAMHS strategy development worker and service manager. He is married with two grown children and leads on perinatal and infant mental health for the National CAMHS Support Service.
OLIVER KIANCHEHR
Oliver is a Children's Specialist in Adult Mental Health at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets' Children's Services and based within an adult mental health team. This role bridges adult and children's services to facilitate joint working, with an emphasis on early intervention, to improve outcomes for children living with parental mental illness.
DREW LINDON
Drew is the Policy and Development Officer for The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, specialising on adult and young carers looking after a person with mental health, substance misuse or dual diagnosis issues. Drew leads on developing policy and partnerships nationally in these areas. Drew has also worked extensively with adult mental health carers on a local level. 
CLARE MAHONEY
Clare is a Senior Consultant with the Strategic Partnership and Programme Development Team, Care Services Improvement Partnership in the North West. Clare has a lead on adult mental health policy as it affects children and families. Clare co-ordinated a national action plan to reduce the social exclusion of families affected by parental mental ill-health in partnership with SCIE. Clare's professional baciground is in public health and community development, and she has worked in the voluntary sector as well as in the NHS.
ROSE DE PAEZTRON
Rose works as Head of Strategic Development with the Family Welfare Association. The FWA's Building Bridges projects work with families affected by parental mental health problems in England. FWA has supported individuals and families in need since 1869, and provides financial, emotional and practical support.

JAN PEARSON
Jan is the Associate Director for Safeguarding Children at the East London NHS Foundation Trust. Her job is to ensure that systems, training and support are in place for practitioners in the mental health trust regarding safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children of service users and children who are service users.
DR SARAH TEMPLE
Sarah is the CAMHS representative for an co-coordinator of the Perinatal Mental Health Network in Cornwall.
